Kim Jae-hwan (Hangul: 김재환, born May 27, 1996), better known by the monomyn Jaehwan (Hangul: 재환), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, known for finishing quaternary in Produce 101 (season 2). He is a old fellow member and main singer of South Korean boy grouping Wanna One.[ane] Equally the group promoted for a year and a half, information technology achieved both critical and commercial success with all four of its albums topping South korea's Gaon Anthology Chart and all v of its lead singles ranking in the meridian three of Southward Korea's Gaon Digital Nautical chart.
Kim debuted as a soloist with his starting time extended play, Another, which was released on May 20, 2019.

Early on career [edit]
Kim came in every bit a semifinalist on Korea'south Got Talent two in 2012.[ii]
In 2016, he was invited to announced on a new music plan about amateurs facing-off professional singers called Song War: God's Voice. In the pilot episode, Kim earned the chance to proceed to the side by side round with his rendition of Boohwal's "The Cute Truth".[3] He eventually emerged as the winner of the start episode with his operation of "Autumn in Front of the Mail service Office" which was originally by Yoon Practice-hyun, the veteran singer he competed confronting.[4]
2017–2018: Produce 101 and Wanna I [edit]
Kim participated in the South Korean boy ring survival bear witness Produce 101 season ii, which aired on Mnet from April 7 until June 16, 2017, equally an individual trainee without an agency. He received a B in the judge'southward evaluation, and placed 27 in the starting time episode. He worked his mode upwards to the top 11, placing 4th, and eventually debuted with Wanna One. He received a total of 1,051,735 votes.[v] He officially debuted with Wanna One during Wanna One Premier Bear witness-Con on August seven, 2017 at the Gocheok Sky Dome with a mini-anthology 1×i=i (To Be One).[six]
Kim made his final appearance as a Wanna Ane fellow member in their final concerts, titled "Therefore", held across four days, ending on January 27, 2019 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, where the group held their debut showcase.[seven]
2019–present: Solo debut [edit]
In 2019, Kim signed with Swing Amusement, which previously managed Wanna I.[8] Kim'southward debut extended play, Another, accompanied with the championship track "Begin Over again", was released on May 20, 2019.[nine] His 2d extended play, Moment, accompanied with the double championship tracks "The Time I Demand" and "Nuna", was released on December 12, 2019.[10]
On April seven, 2021, Kim released his tertiary extended play Alter, accompanied with the title rails "I Wouldn't Await For You".[xi]
On December 27, 2021, Kim released his fourth extended play The Alphabetic character, accompanied with the title track "Unforgettable".[12]
